Toisin kuin vanhoissa turistikirjoissa kerrotaan, korealaiset nuoret pariskunnat näyttävät tunteitansa julkisilla paikoilla: pidetään käsistä kiinni, halaillaan, kosketaan toista aina kun voidaan. Julkinen suutelu ei ehkä ole yhtä yleistä kuin länsimaissa, mutta ei tavatontakaan. Ja tunteet näytetään myös yhteensopivilla asusteilla. Samanlaiset hupparit, paidat, takit tai jopa asusteet on oltava!
In Finland only old people dress up in matching outfits and I bet that's just because they got a twofer. But in Korea, it's common to show who you're with by wearing matching clothing. Matching sweatshirts, jackets or accessories are sold and seen almost everywhere. And just for the record: old guide books are wrong. Young Koreans do show their feelings in public. They hold hands, hug and touch the other person as much as they can. Public kissing is probably not as common as in Europe, but not totally uncommon either.
